Megan and her shrink ray gun chapters 1-9 are up, I still need to edit certain details, but I’m interested in the opinions of people before I turn this into a comic script and make it into a graphic novel. I‘d like to know what I did right and wrong.

A lot of people have favorited it but nobody seems to comment on it. There will be three more chapters to conclude the story, but I plan on making the comic version later this summer.

I spent a lot of time revising chapter one of Megan and her Shrink Ray Gun, I tried to make it more realistic by getting rid of hyperspace and having the inertia dampeners be the reason the astronauts are propelled into the past from the year 3321 to the year 2008.

It shouldn’t be long before I’m finished scripting the first chapter, so I can use Procreate to draw the graphic novel version of this story. This is something I’ve been planning since 1999, and the story is finally coming together!

I stumbled onto the art of Sharpie91, and I was impressed by her coloring skills, so I sent her a message and asked her for a tutorial of her technique. A few days later, she sent me a link to a video at Youtube of her working on a drawing with Paint Tool SAI. She used layers to paint beneath the line art layer, so I went and tried it in Photoshop and of course, it didn't work at first.

I went to Penciljack and Digital Webbing and asked people there about it, and I was told by several people to use multiply layers, so I went and tried it until I figured out how to do it. After the layer is multiplied and duplicated, I can have a coloring layer beneath the line art layer, and I can color the coloring layer without disrupting the line art layer.

I colored a drawing of Supergirl done by Bruce Timm, then I went and colored a drawing of Megan Weiss, a character in one of my stories. I never knew coloring with Photoshop could be so easy, I have heard of complicated techniques that were really involved, but this technique is simple and has completely changed my life, because now I can color drawings of my characters and maybe within a month or two, start doing commissions for people!

My thanks to Sharpie91 for the help and inspiration!

I did a couple of teen giantess collages for a photoshop class at my junior college. Check them out!

I had to draw a 12 page comic for my graphic noveling class. It was my final project. I had to use grey tones, that was part of the assignment, it wasn't my idea. The comic is about a scientist in the year 2099 who invents a shrink-ray.

I spent dozens of hours on this project, first I wrote the script which I had to turn in to my teacher, then I had to do a layout, which I also turned in. Penciling the comic took two weekends, and inking it took a whole weekend of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I added the grey tones with Copic grey markers. I've never worked on a comic project this big before, and with a deadline. The project is due Tuesday December 13th, but I got it ready by Monday December 12th.

I hope everyone enjoys this comic!
